On January 1, 2008, AVerMedia Technologies, Inc. (AVT) spun off its presentaion and network video business as a separate company, AVerMedia Information Inc. (AVI). AVI specializes in the presentation product market and digital video surveillance product market, while AVT focuses on the multimedia product market.

Since 1990, AVerMedia has been on the forefront of leading presentation and digital multimedia technology due to a simple ideology; to turn advanced technology into innovative and high value products designed to meet the needs of consumers.  AVerMedia’s comprehensive and versatile product lines are designed to provide advanced presentation solutions for both new users and experts.  Combining their cutting edge development with unsurpassed customer service and quality has been, and will continue to be the drive and focus of AVerMedia in the digital marketplace.

AVerMedia currently holds office locations in Spain, Germany, China, Taiwan, Japan, Latin America, the United States and the United Kingdom.  The AVerMedia UK office is proud to now be in their tenth year providing cutting-edge presentation products into the education market.  AVerVision Visualisers have earned global praise for being affordable and for being designed specifically to meet the needs of the education market, this includes being shortlisted three times for the BETT Awards in the Primary and Secondary hardware categories.  Their visualisers are a powerful, but cost-effective presentation tool that can be integrated with existing presentation devices, such as interactive whiteboards, projectors or TVs, and enables a presenter to incorporate non-digital items in to their presentations, including hand writing and/or 3D objects.
